This is something I always told people I’d never do. But the day i heard we were going skydiving, something hit me… And i said i want to do this. I did a lot of things that should’ve taken my life in the past, but thanks to Evolve and the people around me. I overcame my biggest fear(s) getting clean and jumping out of a perfectly good plane!!! It was a great day to be alive! #blessed.

The experience of skydiving was a great analogy for getting into recovery! It was terrifying going off and really preparing myself to take the plunge, but once I did it, it was the most free I have ever felt and this overwhelming sense of peace just fell over me. And that’s exactly how I felt making a decision to start my recovery journey
