Jacob Para Scholarship
Jacob came through our doors and became a part of our hearts forever. Evolve Life Centers has created the Jacob Para Scholarship Bed in honor of his memory which will ALWAYS be a free bed to a person in need.
As you can imagine many people have exhausted all resources so With your help we have the ability to expand our scholarships so that we never have to turn away someone in need because of financial reasons.
Scholarship Letters
The Jacob Para Scholarship Fund is a compassionate initiative dedicated to providing support for individuals, struggling with addiction, who do not have the financial means to initiate a change.
Established in memory of Jacob Para, a former Evolve guest who tragically lost his life to an overdose. This scholarship aims to assist individuals, enduring personal and financial hardships, in overcoming challenges with substance abuse.
As a tribute to Jacob’s legacy, with assistance from the Para Family,
“The Jacob Para Scholarship” was established 2018; pledging one bed, 365 days a year, free of charge to individuals in need of addiction recovery support. This initiative ensures that anyone battling addiction, seeking a new way of life, can have access to a safe and encouraging environment as they progress on their journey to recovery.
By offering continuous support and a stable place to stay, the Jacob Para Scholarship aims to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals seeking a path to sobriety and renewed hope.
Eligibility for this scholarship requires applicants to demonstrate
financial hardship, limited resources, lack of family support, and/or delays in receiving county or state funding. Eligible applicants are required to write a letter to the Para Family; share your story, describe how this scholarship would positively impact you, and explain what receiving this scholarship would mean to you.
